Purpose: Implement design drawings and utilize small parts to configure and fabricate a utility vehicle to be used in the oil & gas industry.

Work Schedule: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and two rotating Saturday shifts. Potential to work long, irregular hours (weekends and holidays included).


  • Proficient with fabrication tools including but not limited to: MIG welding, spool gun, plasma cutter, acetylene, torch, band saw, grinders, etc.
  • Assist the team in the assembly unit which consist of building and installing of sub-components.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.


  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug, alcohol and background check.
  • Must be insurable with the company.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak, write and read the English language.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift object weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Frequently push/pull up to 100 pounds or more.
  • Regularly required to climb ladders, sit, stand, bend and lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Able to walk/stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in all inclement weather.
  • Able to work in confined/tight spaces.
  • Ability to work in a potentially physically strenuous environment.
  • Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, heat, cold, dust & chemicals.
